Imam Sadiq [a] said: "My father said to me about his father [a] that a man from Kufah wrote to his father viz. to al-Husayn-ibn-Ali [a] asking him [a] to imform him of the good of this world and that of the next. Then, he [a] wrote (in his reply): `In the Name Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful`. After that: `Verily, he who seeks the pleasure of Allah even while displeasing people, He suffices him in his affairs with people. Friday 10/26 is the day of Eid Al-adha . Eid Mubarak; Salat Eid will start at 8:45 AM at Alrasool Islamic Center Insh Allah.

We invite you and your dear family to the Al-Adha Islamic Festival picnic at Shelby Farms in the new playground area this Friday, October. 26th, from 2 pm until 6 PM. We will perform Friday prayer at 1:00 PM at the center then we will go to the picnic area. There is plenty of room for the whole family to relax and enjoy themselves. We are asking everyone to bring their own picnic items – drinks, snacks, meat, fish and other items they would like to grill and eat. There are two grills on site but it is advisable for you to bring your own just in case.
