Imam Sadiq [a] said: "My father said to me about his father [a] that a man from Kufah wrote to his father viz. to al-Husayn-ibn-Ali [a] asking him [a] to imform him of the good of this world and that of the next. Then, he [a] wrote (in his reply): `In the Name Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful`. After that: `Verily, he who seeks the pleasure of Allah even while displeasing people, He suffices him in his affairs with people. But, he who seeks the pleasure of people while Allah is displeased, he leaves him to people (and he will be far from His Grace), Wassalam`." ‡ ‡ ‡ ‡Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 71, p. 208

Shahadat Imam Ali (AS) Weekend Program - 1432

We at Alrasool Islamic Center ask Allah to shower you with his infinite mercy and accept your Ammal. The peak of the holy month of Ramadan is coming this weekend. We will celebrate the nights of Alqader which God said is equal to 1000 months. Also, we will commemorate the martyrdom of the commander of the faithful (AS). Please plan and prepare yourselves and your family to be ready to receive these holy nights in earnest. Only the miserable will be the ones who miss out these nights according to Ahlu Albiat tradition.

On your behalf we send our condolences to the imam of the age (AJ) for Shahadat his grandfather the commander of the faithful Imam Ali (AS). Alrasool Islamic center will hold 3 days mourn for Shahadat the commander of the faithful Imam Ali (AS).

This coming week have the best night of the year is the night of Alqdr, which is the best night among the nights of the whole year. The "A'maal" (religious performances) of this night are better than the A'maal of 1000 nights. In this night the divine Annual Decree is passed. The Angels and Roohul Ameen (A highly dignified Angel) descend on this earth, in that night. These call on the Imam of the time, and what is ordained (by Allah) for everybody is presented before the Imam.
